Chimney sweep // North Little Rock
North Little Rock chimneys, handled.
North Little Rock has a lot of older chimneys.
Census figures put more than half of its homes before 1980, and nearly one in four before 1960.
That is older housing than Little Rock itself.
From our base near UA Little Rock it is about a 16 minute drive across the river.

The old Argenta side of the river
North Little Rock started out as Argenta, founded in 1871.
Little Rock annexed it in 1890, and it broke away again as North Little Rock in 1901.
Downtown is still called Argenta.
Older brick chimneys need the most care: open mortar joints, cracked crowns, missing caps.
Newer homes farther north need a sweep too.
Creosote builds the same way in a young flue as in an old one.
